So a couple moms in my ward wanted to put their kids in a week long camp during the Summer, but things like that can be pretty expensive. Since there are lots of young moms in our ward, they figured we can do our own camp and the best part? It's free! Well, besides a few bucks for snacks and supplies. 5 awesome moms took on the responsibility of taking a day to plan some sort of activity for the kiddos, while the rest of the awesome moms take a day to bring snacks. So today was our first day and it was an art project at Stagecoach Park.
We started off with some fun welcome songs.
The babies had fun too.
Then, a story was read.
The kids got grapes and goldfish to snack on.
Time to paint! Each child got their own paints, brush, water, and pictures to paint.

We ended with some fun games and songs. SO fun. Mason loved it and we're excited to see what the next 4 days have in store for us!
What a fun idea! I wish we had more young moms in our ward. Everybody's kids are older and so the moms are running around in 3 or 4 different directions. Enjoy it while it lasts!
