Earlier in the day Mason wanted to talk about Santa and he asked why he wears a big red and white jacket. He learned that since Santa has to travel to cold places, he needs something to keep him really warm. He was concerned for Santa getting too hot in that big jacket. I told him he probably takes it off when he gets to warmer places. Mason wanted to know what he wears under the jacket. I told him it was probably a red shirt. So then later in the day he randomly said this:
Mason: Mom, polar bears have special fur to keep them warm, right?
Me: Yep.
Mason: But tigers don't. They have regular fur. Like Santa.
I love our conversations. :)
