Of course he called the doctor and they said he needed to get to the emergency room. So I left Mason with my sister (we were at the park with our joy school group) and luckily my mom was able to meet us at our home to watch Annie so I was able to drive Chris to the hospital and stay with him there.
We ended up being in the ER for 11 hours!! During that time, he had 1 ultrasound, 2 MRI's, no food or water, and lots and lots of waiting. Turns out everything is OK, thank goodness! My mind was going crazy thinking about the awful possibilities-stroke, bleeding in the brain, tumor! It was all a darn migraine. Whew! We were really happy they decided to do the MRI's because it is very nice to know that there isn't a tumor or something bad happening in there. I have had a couple MRI's in my lifetime and I remember having a sense a relief knowing that my brain was healthy. Sometimes you wonder, y'know? Haha!
So grateful that my sister was able to take Mason on such short notice and SO grateful that my amazing mom was able to completely drop her entire day to watch Mason and Annie from noon until we got home at almost midnight. Thankful for such great family and that we get to live so close to each other. And especially grateful that everything turned out good with my sweet hubby. Hopefully no more migraines for him. This was our third trip to the ER in about two weeks. Not cool. Not cool at all.
When we finally got the test results, the doctor showed us all of the pictures of Chris' brain. Pretty cool to see!!

so scary! Glad he is ok! It is such a blessing to live by family... many times I have had to call my mom, sister, kathryn, vicki, and even michael to come help rescue me from some sort of craziness that happened!
